The main changes are callchain stability fixes from Jean Pihet and
event mapping and PMU name rework from Mark Rutland
The latter is preparatory work for enabling some code re-use with
arm64 in the future.
- updates for nommu from Uwe Kleine-König:
Two different fixes for the same problem making some ARM nommu
configurations not boot since 3.6-rc1. The problem is that
user_addr_max returned the biggest available RAM address which
makes some copy_from_user variants fail to read from XIP memory.
- deprecate legacy OMAP DMA API, in preparation for it's removal.
The popular drivers have been converted over, leaving a very small
number of rarely used drivers, which hopefully can be converted
during the next cycle with a bit more visibility (and hopefully
people popping out of the woodwork to help test)
- more tweaks for BE systems, particularly with the kernel image
format. In connection with this, I've cleaned up the way we
generate the linker script for the decompressor.
- removal of hard-coded assumptions of the kernel stack size, making
everywhere depend on the value of THREAD_SIZE_ORDER.
- MCPM updates from Nicolas Pitre.
- Make it easier for proper CPU part number checks (which should
always include the vendor field).
- Assembly code optimisation - use the "bx" instruction when
returning from a function on ARMv6+ rather than "mov pc, reg".
- Save the last kernel misaligned fault location and report it via
the procfs alignment file.
- Clean up the way we create the initial stack frame, which is a
repeated pattern in several different locations.
- Support for 8-byte get_user(), needed for some DRM implementations.
- mcs locking from Will Deacon.
- Save and restore a few more Cortex-A9 registers (for errata
workarounds)
- Fix various aspects of the SWP emulation, and the ELF hwcap for the
SWP instruction.
- Update LPAE logic for pte_write and pmd_write to make it more
correct.

act8865_pdata_from_dt() populates the array pdata->regulators with all
the regulators and then assigns the field init_data only for the ones
actually found in the DT.
The patch changes the value assigned to pdata->num_regulators to match
the size of the array.

The driver loops through all available regulators (ACT8865_REG_NUM)
and accesses pdata->regulators[i].platform_data without checking the
actual value of num_regulators in platform data, potentially causing a
invalid memory access.
Fix this and look up the regulator init_data by id in platform data.

HDMI spec requires a valid max_tmds_clock from edid for hdmi
deep color modes. If a sink violates this, disable deep color.

Remove the old nfsd_for_n_state function and move nfsd_find_client
higher up into the file to get rid of forward declaration. Remove
the struct nfsd_fault_inject_op arguments from the operations as
they are no longer needed by any of them.
Finally, remove the old "standard" get and set routines, which
also eliminates the client_mutex from this code.

Now that we've added more granular locking in other places, it's time
to address the fault injection code. This code is currently quite
reliant on the client_mutex for protection. Start to change this by
adding a new set of fault injection op vectors.
For now they all use the legacy ones. In later patches we'll add new
routines that can deal with more granular locking.
Also, move some of the printk routines into the callers to make the
results of the operations more uniform.

The clid counter is a global counter currently. Move it to be a per-net
property so that it can be properly protected by the nn->client_lock
instead of relying on the client_mutex.
The verifier generator is also potentially racy if there are two
simultaneous callers. Generate the verifier when we generate the clid
value, so it's also created under the client_lock. With this, there's
no need to keep two counters as they'd always be in sync anyway, so
just use the clientid_counter for both.
As Trond points out, what would be best is to eventually move this
code to use IDR instead of the hash tables. That would also help ensure
uniqueness, but that's probably best done as a separate project.

It's possible that we'll have an in-progress call on some of the clients
while a rogue EXCHANGE_ID or DESTROY_CLIENTID call comes in. Be sure to
try and mark the client expired first, so that the refcount is
respected.
This will only be a problem once the client_mutex is removed.

The error flow of ipoib_ib_dev_open() invokes ipoib_ib_dev_stop() with
workqueue flushing enabled, which deadlocks if the open procedure
itself was called by a worker thread.
Fix this by adding a flush enabled flag to ipoib_ib_dev_open() and set
it accordingly from the locations where such a call is made.

The current code use a dedicated polling logic to determine when the P_Key
assigned to the ipoib device is present in HCA port table and act accordingly.
Move to use the code which acts upon getting PKEY_CHANGE event to handle this
task and remove the P_Key polling logic/thread as they add extra complexity
which isn't needed.

Secure-host is the general term for the capability of a device
to protect itself and the subnet from malicious host software.
This is achieved by:
1. Not allowing un-trusted entities to access device configuration
registers, directly (through pci_cr or pci_conf) and indirectly
(through MADs).
2. Hiding M_Key from untrusted entities.
3. Preventing the modification of GUID0 by un-trusted entities
4. Not allowing drivers on untrusted hosts to receive nor to transmit
packets over QP0 (SMP Firewall).
The secure-host capability depends on firmware handling all QP0
packets, and not passing these packets up to the driver. Any information
required by the driver for proper operation (e.g., SM lid) is passed
via events generated by the firmware while processing QP0 MADs.
Driver support mainly requires using the MAD_DEMUX FW command at startup,
where the feature is enabled/disabled through a procedure described in
the Mellanox HCA tools package.

If the user creates a listening cm_id with backlog of 0 the IWCM ends
up not allowing any connection requests at all. The correct behavior
is for the IWCM to pick a default value if the user backlog parameter
is zero.
Lustre from version 1.8.8 onward uses a backlog of 0, which breaks
iwarp support without this fix.

For each minor we allocate a sysfs device as minor->kdev. Currently, this
is allocated and registered in drm_minor_register(). This makes it
impossible to add sysfs-attributes to the device before it is registered.
Therefore, they are not added atomically, nor can we move device_add()
*after* ->load() is called.
This patch makes minor->kdev available early, but only adds the device
during minor-registration. Note that the registration is still called
before ->load() as debugfs needs to be split, too. This will be fixed in
follow-ups.

Instead of allocating the minor-index during registration, we now do this
during allocation. This way, debug-messages between minor-allocation and
minor-registration will now use the correct minor instead of 0. Same is
done for unregistration vs. free, so debug-messages between
device-shutdown and device-destruction show proper indices.
Even though minor-indices are allocated early, we don't enable minor
lookup early. Instead, we keep the entry set to NULL and replace it during
registration / unregistration. This way, the index is allocated but lookup
only works if registered.

'headers_install.txt' from Documentation/make/ is related to Kbuild
so it must be moved in Documentation/kbuild/ directory.
As Documentation/make/ directory has only one file, it will be removed
as a consequence of moving 'headers_install.txt'.
