This patch adds a new flag to the drmWaitVblank ioctl, which asks the drm
to return immediately and notify userspace when the specified vblank sequence
happens by sending an event back on the drm fd.
The event mechanism works with the other flags supported by the ioctls,
specifically, the vblank sequence can be specified relatively or absolutely,
and works for primary and seconday crtc.
The signal field of the vblank request is used to provide user data,
which will be sent back to user space in the vblank event.

Current calculation does not take into account any changes to M2 divisor, and
thus when we change VDD2 OPP, dpll3_m2x2 rate does not change. Fixed by
re-routing dpll3_m2x2 parent to dpll3_m2.

Fix the freqsel value computation. Use n instead of (n+1)
The formula in the TRM uses a zero-based N, hence the (n+1); however
at this point in the clock34xx.c code, N is one-based.

The current MTRR code treats WP as a form of UC. This really isn't
desirable behaviour, except possibly in the case of severe MTRR
shortage. Disable this, to allow legitimate uses of WP to remain
unmolested.

These values were only introduced during this release cycle, so it is
still early enough to get them right.
alpha uses the same values that are in asm-generic/fcntl.h, so just
remove them.
parisc uses the values interchanged for no apparent reason, so remove
them to give us consistency across all architectures.

Access to log items on the AIL is generally protected by m_ail_lock;
this is particularly needed when we're getting or setting the 64-bit
li_lsn on a 32-bit platform. This patch fixes a couple places where we
were accessing the log item after dropping the AIL lock on 32-bit
machines.
This can result in a partially-zeroed log->l_tail_lsn if
xfs_trans_ail_delete is racing with xfs_trans_ail_update, and in at
least some cases, this can leave the l_tail_lsn with a zero cycle
number, which means xlog_space_left will think the log is full (unless
CONFIG_XFS_DEBUG is set, in which case we'll trip an ASSERT), leading to
processes stuck forever in xlog_grant_log_space.

Hi,
I was hit by a bug in linux 2.6.31 when XFS is not able to recover the
log after a crash if fs was mounted with quotas. Gory details in XFS
bugzilla: http://oss.sgi.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=855.
It looks like wrong struct is used in buffer length check, and the following
patch should fix the problem.
xfs_dqblk_t has a size of 104+32 bytes, while xfs_disk_dquot_t is 104 bytes
long, and this is exactly what I see in system logs - "XFS: dquot too small
(104) in xlog_recover_do_dquot_trans."

If the user has an older version of objcopy, that can not handle
converting local symbols to global and vice versa, then some
functions will not be part of the dynamic function tracer. The current
code in recordmcount.pl will print a warning in this case. Unfortunately,
there exists lots of files that may have this issue with older objcopys
and this will cause a warning for every file compiled with this
issue.
This patch solves this overwhelming output by creating a
.tmp_quiet_recordmcount file on the first instance the warning is
encountered. The warning will not print if this file exists.
The temp file is deleted at the beginning of the compile to ensure that
the warning will happen once again on new compiles (because the issue
is still present).

znet was including "wireless/i82593.h" (which is a bit wierd), and I
missed that when I relocated i82593.h to drivers/staging/wavelan. Since
I don't have ISA turned-on in my normal .config, I didn't see the build
failures -- mea culpa!

The ALC262 has a quirk entry matching with all Sony Vaio laptops
to use model=sony-assamd as default. But, model=auto works much better
for new models in the recent driver versions, thus it's safer to disable
that default quirk entry.

Disable the master volume control in the PCM2702 chipset.
The datasheet documents two independent channel volume controls, one
master mute control and one master volume control. All controls are
fully functional except for the master volume control, which returns
USB stalls on all GET requests.

In case register_netdevice() returns an error, and a new vlan_group
was allocated and inserted in vlan_group_hash[] we call
vlan_group_free() without deleting group from hash table. Future
lookups can give infinite loops or crashes.
We must delete the vlan_group using RCU safe procedure.

When a string was written to <debugfs>/tracing/trace_marker, some
strange characters appeared in the trace output instead of the
string, since a vprint function erroneously called a vararg print
function with a va_list argument. This patch fixes the problem and
simplifies the related code.

With the change of the way we process commits. Where a commit only happens
at the outer most level, and that we don't need to worry about
a commit ending after the rb_start_commit() has been called, the code
use to grab the commit page before the tail page to prevent a possible
race. But this race no longer exists with the rb_start_commit()
rb_end_commit() interface.

When we've merged skb's with page frags, and subsequently receive
a trailer skb (< MSS) that is not completely non-linear (this can
occur on Intel NICs if the packet size falls below the threshold),
GRO ends up producing an illegal GSO skb with a frag_list.
This is harmless unless the skb is then forwarded through an
interface that requires software GSO, whereupon the GSO code
will BUG.
This patch detects this case in GRO and avoids merging the
trailer skb.

This patch removes config dependency on x86 to build vmxnet3 driver. Thus
the driver can be built on big endian architectures now. Although vmxnet3
is not supported on VMs other than x86 architecture, all this code goes in
to ensure correctness. If the code is not dependent on x86, it should not
assume little endian architecture in any of its operations.

The netlink URELEASE notifier doesn't notify for
sockets that have been used to receive multicast
but it should be called for such sockets as well
since they might _also_ be used for sending and
not solely for receiving multicast. We will need
that for nl80211 (generic netlink sockets) in the
future.

This fixes the following warning:

The function __devexit .mdio_gpio_bus_destroy() references
a function __devinit .mdio_gpio_bus_deinit().
This is often seen when error handling in the exit function
uses functionality in the init path.
The fix is often to remove the __devinit annotation of
.mdio_gpio_bus_deinit() so it may be used outside an init section.
