When passing a large read to receive_encrypted_read(), ensure that the demultiplex_thread knows that a MID was processed. Without this, those operations never complete. This is a similar issue/fix to lease break handling: commit7af929d6d0("smb3: fix lease break problem introduced by compounding") CC: Stable <stable@vger.kernel.org> # 4.19+ Fixes:b24df3e30c("cifs: update receive_encrypted_standard to handle compounded responses") Signed-off-by: Paul Aurich <paul@darkrain42.org> Tested-by: Yves-Alexis Perez <corsac@corsac.net> Signed-off-by: Steve French <stfrench@microsoft.com> Reviewed-by: Ronnie Sahlberg <lsahlber@redhat.com>
Linux kernel
============
There are several guides for kernel developers and users. These guides can
be rendered in a number of formats, like HTML and PDF. Please read
Documentation/admin-guide/README.rst first.
In order to build the documentation, use ``make htmldocs`` or
``make pdfdocs``. The formatted documentation can also be read online at:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/
There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
