In order to identify which thread triggered the event in a multi-threaded program, add the FAN_REPORT_TID flag in fanotify_init to opt-in for reporting the event creator's thread id information. There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.

Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
