00194b2e84 x32: Only clear TIF_X32 flag once
Commits bb212724 and d1a797f3 both added a call to
clear_thread_flag(TIF_X32) under set_personality_64bit() - only one is
needed.

ce5f7a99df x32: Make sure TS_COMPAT is cleared for x32 tasks
If a process has a non-x32 ia32 personality and changes to x32, the
process would keep its TS_COMPAT flag. x32 uses the presence of the
x32 flag on a syscall to determine compat status, so make sure
TS_COMPAT is cleared.

0efb34f298 [IA64] simserial, bail out when request_irq fails
Without this, the code succeeds when the port is opened by root and we
get unwanted interrupts storm on the first key stroke.

Instead of that, tell the user we failed and that we won't continue. I
suppose, the code was copied from the serial layer where we may want
to change the irq number, so we must allow open even of the failing
port. This is not the case for this driver at all.

cb5348554b [IA64] hpsim, initialize chip for assigned irqs
Currently, when assign_irq_vector is called and the irq connected in
the simulator, the irq is not ready. request_irq will return ENOSYS
immediately. It is because the irq chip is unset.

Hence set the chip properly to irq_type_hp_sim. And make sure this is
done from both users of simulated interrupts.

Also we have to set handler here, otherwise we end up in
handle_bad_int resulting in spam in logs and no irqs handled. We use
handle_simple_irq as these are SW interrupts that need no ACK or
anything.

82af3a4e9e [IA64] hpsim, fix SAL handling in fw-emu
The switch-cases of SAL_FREQ_BASE generate non-relocatable code. The
same as for the ifs one level upper. This causes oopses early in boot
because the kernel jumps to the hell instead of the offset in sal
callback.

So use ifs here for SAL_FREQ_BASE decision too.

Isn't there any compiler directive or settings to solve that cleanly?

5cfb19ac60 ARM: davinci: streamline sysmod access
There are instances of IO_ADDRESS() being used for system module
(sysmod) register access. Eliminate this in favor of a ioremap()
based access. ioremap() the entire sysmod address space once during
boot-up and provide a helper macro to access specific register
offsets within the address space.

With this, also eliminate ioremap() of specific sysmodule registers

6261091302 x86-64: Fix CFI annotations for NMI nesting code
The saving and restoring of %rdx wasn't annotated at all, and the
jumping over sections where state gets partly restored wasn't handled
either.

Further, by folding the pushing of the previous frame in repeat_nmi
into that which so far was immediately preceding restart_nmi (after
moving the restore of %rdx ahead of that, since it doesn't get used
anymore when pushing prior frames), annotations of the replicated
frame creations can be made consistent too.

v2: Fully fold repeat_nmi into the normal code flow (adding a single
redundant instruction to the "normal" code path), thus retaining
the special protection of all instructions between repeat_nmi and
    end_repeat_nmi.

acea7c7b81 ARM: OMAP2+: Limit omap_read/write usage to legacy USB drivers
Drivers should no longer use omap_read/write functions
but instead use ioremap + read/write functions.

As some USB legacy code is still shared between omap1 and

Note that the long term fix is to update the drivers to
use ioremap and read/write functions. That can now be
done as a separate patch series that is limited to the
USB drivers.

Also make sure the legacy omap1-keypad.c driver builds

892365ab4d [S390] memory hotplug: prevent memory zone interleave
This fixes a kernel oops with CONFIG_DEBUG_VM triggered by a
VM_BUG_ON(bad_range()): kernel BUG at mm/page_alloc.c:748.

With memory hotplug on System z, it is possible that the memory
online/offline state is preserved over a system restart, e.g. there
may be offline memory blocks in ZONE_DMA or ZONE_NORMAL. So far,
the offline memory range has always been added to ZONE_MOVABLE during
system start, so that it was possible to have ZONE_MOVABLE interleave
with ZONE_DMA or ZONE_NORMAL. This patch fixes that by checking for
zone overlap before adding memory.

abd2363f6a irq_domain/mips: Allow irq_domain on MIPS
This patch makes IRQ_DOMAIN usable on MIPS. It uses an ugly workaround
to preserve current behaviour so that MIPS has time to add irq_domain
registration to the irq controller drivers. The workaround will be
removed in Linux v3.6

149f1d5c8d ARM: OMAP2+: Fix devexit for smartreflex when CONFIG_HOTPLUG is not set
Otherwise we get:

`omap_sr_remove' referenced in section `.data' of arch/arm/mach-omap2/built-in.o:
defined in discarded section `.devexit.text' of arch/arm/mach-omap2/built-in.o

c295fb633e ARM: OMAP2+: Fix multiple randconfig errors with SOC_OMAP and SOC_OMAP_NOOP
If we don't have ARCH_OMAP2, 3 or 4 selected randconfig will always
fail with multiple errors as the CPU and MACHINE are not set.

Fix this by changing arch/arm/Makefile to build mach-omap2 based on
ARCH_OMAP2PLUS. And let's introduce SOC_OMAP and SOC_OMAP_NOOP that
allow randconfig to generate buildable .config files.

Note that we can also remove few uncecssary ARCH_OMAP2PLUS lines
as they are all within if ARCH_OMAP2PLUS block.
